How it all began

The Win Tavern 33 opened September 2016 by foodies and lovers of artisanal spirits Robert Wahl and Tad Feutz. Two men on a mission to create a community-based restaurant in Jenison, Michigan, focused on good food, good brews, and a family oriented environment. We pride ourselves on using only fresh ingredients, never-frozen, and cooked to order meals. We believe the quality and originality speaks for itself!

Since opening, alongside countless community praises, we were awarded “Best New Business 2017” by the Grandville Jenison Chamber of Commerce.  Recent recognition’s include being voted, “Best Burger” by MLive 2020 and the best restaurant in West Michigan through the Dining with Dave March Madness Bracket, courtesy of FOX 17, 2019.

Many ask where the name comes from! The “Win” derives from the street of its origin – Baldwin. And for the 33? It comes from the year the Prohibition ended – 1933. Being the first bar in Jenison, what could be a better fit?

Come on down and try one of our house-made mules, a delicious burger or sandwich, watch your favorite sports team from one of our 9 TVS, play some KENO, and enjoy!

Each year, we strive to do more for the community that has helped us become the place we are today. Check out some of our recent work in MLIVE here:
